NEXT LOOK: 'Fashion Trends' revamp!

We have had a lot of enquires for the AW12/13 'Fashion Trends' book, and just to let you all know it has been replaced by the new NEXT LOOK book instead. 

So far Next Look have released their first issue for 'styles and accessories' and focuses on everything from colour, to patterns, materials and silhouettes and much more. 

This looks at the emerging micro trends from AW11-12 catwalks and predicts which ones will evolve into maco trends e.g. will be bigger in AW12-13.

Wedding fever...

Ok, so we all LOVED the wedding of the century and THAT dress courtesy of a Miss Sarah Burton (Alexander would have been proud), but it seems Princess Kate has sparked a serious bridal trend...

Her Grace Kellyesque bridal gown seems to have reignited our love of the 'classic' bride, rather than the 'modern' one, with subtle embroidery to the skirt and long, elegant laced sleeves (strapless is definitely over, mark our words).  No one could fault Kate, (or Sarah Burton for that matter) and that's probably why her dress is already being copied by designer outlets all over the world.

So look out for a fresh wave of subtlety and elegance taking over the pages of our Autumn/Winter bridal magazines, out now:

We're all very excited in the showroom at the moment, as the long awaited Haute couture titles are starting to trickle in!  Gap Press, L'Officiel, and Gap Collections are first to have come into our showroom, all covering the major Haute couture designers from Christian Dior to Alexander McQueen.

PANTONE colour of the year 2011!

Yes, Honeysuckle 18-2120 is Pantone's colour of the year for 2011. 

Having been desciribed by Pantone as 'a brave new colour for a brave new world' there is certainly nothing dull or forgettable about the Honeysuckle shade...

The Pantone HOTEL

Pantone have been branching out recently and the Pantone Hotel in Brussels scooped Travel + Leisure's Design award for best small hotel.  For all you colour fanatics, the rooms are all styled a different Pantone shade!
